About

Hannah started songwriting in her early teens, influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carol King and the Cardigans. During her career as a singer she has worked with jazz star Wynton Marsalis, Disney, trance DJs Genix and Solarstone – as well as sung lead vocals for major dance labels. She has released three singles: ‘Circles’ and ‘Look Good in Blue,’ which were both BBC Radio Leicester Introducing Track of the Week, and ‘Porcelain’ which was released in May 2019.

Hannah is also a professional choral conductor and in 2015 appeared on the One Show when she was named BBC ‘Unsung Hero’ for her work with community music, founding four thriving community choirs in Leicester and London.  In 2017 she worked with Gary Barlow on his West End musical GIRLS,  leading two massed choirs to perform with Barlow at the Royal Variety Show and the Olivier Awards. She also performed with the cast of GIRLS on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Click on the links to listen to my two singles released in 2018: Circles and Look Good in Blue (both featured on BBC Music Introducing in The East Midlands). My next single, Porcelain, was released in May 2019 and can be purchased here.

In April 2019 a song that i have written, “Count all the Stars” was played as part of a Guinness World Record Attempt – Highest Altitude DJ Set on Land – with Genix and Ian Kerr on Mt Everest in Nepal. I was thrilled to be on the mountain with the team during the attempt.

“Love this, Its just brilliant. Lovely fresh British sound. Circles is her debut solo single & it deserves to do incredibly well.”
